This is a one-part, general all-purpose polyurethane adhesive sealant that chemically reacts with moisture to deliver flexible bonds with good adhesion to wood, fiberglass, gelcoat, plastics, and metals. It forms watertight, weather-resistant seals on joints and boat hardware above or below the waterline. This product is approximately half the strength of 3M™ Marine Adhesive Sealant 5200, allowing for disassembly of parts. It cures fast, typically in as little as 24 hours, and is a long-lasting formula that resists weathering and salt water. The tough, flexible bonds retain strength even during vibration, structural movement, or shock. It allows for disassembly without damage, making it a semi-permanent adhesive sealant. Not recommended for sealing wood decks as it may be permanently softened by certain teak cleaners or sealers. Test on plastics to determine suitability. When very high strength or unremovable bonds are required, use 3M™ Marine Adhesive/Sealant 5200 or 3M™ Marine Adhesive/Sealant Fast Cure 5200. Color: White. Size: 3 Ounces.
