The Extech MO55 is a Combination Pin/Pinless Moisture Meter that allows for quick moisture measurements on wood and building materials using either a pin or pinless (non-invasive) method. It displays moisture levels in wood with a reading range of 5 to 50 vol% and in building materials with a reading range of 1.5 to 33 vol%. The device features a digital display, is battery-powered, and has an accuracy of ±3 %. It can measure moisture in materials such as wall board, sheet rock, cardboard, plaster, concrete, and mortar. The pinless measurement depth is up to 25mm. The meter includes an audible alert that beeps faster as moisture levels increase, and icons indicate low, medium, and high moisture content. It has a data hold function to freeze readings on the display. The dimensions are 170mm in length, 65mm in width, and 30mm in height, with a weight of 120g. It is CE approved.
