The Alpkit Jaran 2 is an ultralight, 2-person, 3-season backpacking tent designed to balance weight, durability, and space. Weighing approximately 2.04kg (without footprint), it features a semi-geodesic freestanding structure with a single hub design for quick setup. A horizontal crossbar enhances stability in windy conditions. The tent has twin porches, each measuring 126 cm x 67 cm, providing ample storage for gear and convenient access for two people. The construction includes a 40D ripstop nylon flysheet and groundsheet with a PU backer, a 15D ripstop nylon inner, and 20D breathable nylon mesh. Poles are made from 7001-T6 alloy. The dimensions when pitched are 220cm (width) x 106/80cm (depth) x 99cm (height), and it packs down to 15cm x 42cm. The tent is available in Kelp Green and includes a bathtub-style groundsheet for protection against damp pitches and mesh sections for ventilation and insect protection.
