The SIP 18" 230V Professional Metal Cutting Bandsaw is designed for heavy-duty performance, offering high accuracy and reduced vibration. It features a cast iron bow, a powerful 1.5kW (2Hp) induction motor, and a 4-speed belt-driven gearbox for cutting various materials and thicknesses. The bandsaw includes a large adjustable vice suitable for sections, straight, and angle cuts. An adjustable hydraulic ram dampener ensures smooth cutting control and aids blade performance. It also comes with a coolant system to extend blade life and cool the cutting area. Supplied with Bi-Metal Vari-Pitch blades, this bandsaw is ideal for cutting bar, tubes, profile workpieces, and blocks made from mild steel, stainless steel, aluminium, copper, brass, and alloys. It operates on a 230V (13A) 1-Phase input supply and has a built-in 24V control circuit safety feature. Cutting capacities at 90° are 254mm (round) / 127 x 150mm (box), and at 45° are 150mm (round) / 150 x 190mm (box).
